A safe place for vulnerable women to regain dignity, identity and hope
In northern Uganda, particularly in the Acholi sub-region, violence and abuse against women and girls are all too common. These abuses—whether physical, emotional, or sexual—are often suffered in silence. Victims may fear retaliation or lack the resources to report the incidents. Even when cases are reported, they often remain unaddressed, leaving women and girls vulnerable and powerless. Our goal is to create a safe environment where these women and girls can find protection, rediscover their dignity and identity, and begin to hope again. In addition, we aim to support them in their journey toward independence by providing emotional healing and pastoral care. This support helps them regain their confidence, empowering them to reintegrate into society and lead self-determined lives.
