Ndrele/DR Congo:

In 2016, we visited the DR Congo for the first time, where we trained Pastor Alimu and his team in discipleship and evangelism. Since then, they have successfully planted over 16 new churches. We continue to meet annually to provide ongoing training for his team.

Gulu/Uganda

Since 2022, Pastor Denis and his team have been consistently traveling throughout the Gulu region for evangelistic missions. This has led to the establishment of several new groups and eight local churches in the Acholi region. We are committed to supporting this church planting movement through ongoing guidance and financial assistance.

Nico Borissov, the director of carriers of Hope is not like any other missionary, but one whom I have travelled with to the security alert areas of DR Congo, communities along West Nile and remote villages of Northern Uganda all for one purpose; making disciples and planting churches. His discipleship tools and inner healing teachings have and are continuing to strengthen disciples and disciple makers in these areas leading to a life of freedom. Carriers of hope continues to support church plants and facilitates pastors with transport and fuel their motorbikes to ensure that they make disciples in remote villages. Carriers of Hope's partnership with Antioch Discipleship Training Center is seeing many more disciples being made across Northern Uganda, North Eastern DR Congo, and South Sudan by sponsoring our weekly radio programme with over two million listeners.

A couple of years ago Nico Borissov contacted us from Germany, indicating he had been called by God to reach out to the Indigenous people of North America. Since then he has been coming to Saskatchewan twice a year to minister among us. His work has been very significant for our church. He has helped us grow in prayer, depth, discipleship, and evangelism. Everything he has brought to our church has been high qualify and very encouraging. Nico has become a very dear part of our lives, and his visits are now highlights for us every year. We are very grateful to the Lord that he has sent Nico our way, and for the partnership that we have in the gospel!

Through ILEM Leadership School, I've gained a lot of biblical knowledge. I've particularly learnt how to help my church grow and develop further. Since Bible school is very expensive, I could never have afforded it on my own. I was able to pay part of the fees, and ILEM covered the rest.

Brother Nico Borissov has provided us with a lot of good teaching in the field of Discipleship Making, cultivating deeper insight of God. Before we came to know Nico we were sticking to the church tradition reciting processional guidelines not understanding them comprehensively. The ministry of carries of Hope Germany has improved our performance when dealing with: Leadership, obedience, trauma counselling and Inner Healing. Because of the impact of these, we have grown and expanded our territories and gained confidence in church planting. Carriers of Hope also provided free Alur Bibles that helped our members who are staying at different locations.
